Saving Feline Lives in
Sonoma County, CA
• SINCE 2023 •

At Twenty Tails Rescue, we believe that compassion has the power to change lives. Every animal deserves a loving home, and our donor-funded nonprofit is committed to making that a reality.

WHAT WE DO

We’re dedicated to providing a safe haven for cats in need, offering them a second chance at a happy and healthy life.

Cat Rescue

We work with our community to rescue cats from unstable situations, from rapidly breeding colonies to overcrowded shelters.

Cat Adoption

As a personality-first rescue, we match both cat(s) and human to one another based on temperament and individual needs. Looks are secondary!

Spay + Neuter

Reducing the number of rapidly over-breeding populations is the true path to saving lives. Our spay and neuter initiatives prevent suffering on multiple levels.

Medical Care

When we’re well-funded, we can take on the toughest medical cases to end discomfort and pain, placing rehabilitated cats in loving forever homes.

FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS

Meet our Fospice Felines

Lincoln, the Cross-eyed House Panther

Sweet cross-eyed house panther, Lincoln, is special needs, but not due to his depth perception. He has a tender heart and bashful nature that requires a peaceful, calm environment. He loves mealtime, playing with his toy mice and rainbow wand-chasing, and absolutely adores the resident cats—when he’s not napping in a warm pool of sunshine, he can be found curled up alongside one of them.

By sponsoring Lincoln, you’re not only ensuring he receives the love, comfort, and medical attention he needs—you’re also making a powerful impact without the full-time commitment of adoption.

Ansel

Ansel, Our Big Boy with a Big Heart

Big boy Ansel stole our hearts at just 11 months old—around the same time we discovered he had an enlarged heart. Because of his fragile condition, we’ve made the compassionate choice to keep Ansel in our care, where he can be monitored closely and showered with love every single day.

While he may not be a candidate for adoption, sponsoring Ansel allows you to be part of his journey, helping us provide the specialized care he needs while giving him the peaceful, joy-filled life he deserves.

Through volunteer opportunities, educational events, and partnerships, we bring people together to create a stronger network of care for animals in need.

The Health of Our Adoptable Cats

All adoptable cats have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FELV/FIV. The ages of all cats are approximate.
